Q: I have a big idea, but I'm not sure how to execute it.
A: No worries. We're the Dear Abby of printers. Shoot us an email, or give us a call, and we'll be more than happy to hand out some advice on sizing, substrates, or even what brand of toilet paper to use. (Answer: anything but Charmin. Those bears give us the heebie-jeebies.)
Q: What's your estimated turnaround time?
A: This varies depending on the project. Give us every little speck of info on the specs of the job, and we'll craft your quote. If a deadline's breathing down your neck and you need a quick turnaround, let us know—our savvy sales reps will work to get you a quote faster than you can say "top chopstick shops stock top chopsticks" three times fast.
Q: How do I get my files to you?
A: Oh Dorothy, you always had the ability to get us your files. Just click your heels together three times...and then click the
FTP link hanging out there on the right.
Q: What are your preferred file formats?
A: Call and ask to speak to Craig (tell him Vinnie "The Chin" sent you) or email our
jim@veteransprint.com>, and we'll give you the whole spiel.
Q: How long does it take for you to complete my order?
A: It depends—every job is a unique, special snowflake. Some jobs can be produced in minutes and some jobs may take days, depending on the particulars of the project. Let us know when you need your job completed, and we'll do our best to get 'er done. We'll go to great lengths to meet your most rigorous demands.
Q: What is a "proof"?
A: A proof is a sample of your piece. It's how we ensure that everything—colors, type, positioning—is, to quote Goldilocks, "just right." Typically, we'll send a physical proof for your approval. For small jobs that are not color critical, we'll email a PDF proof instead.
Please carefully review all your proofs. That way, if there are any errors, we can fix them before it's too late.
